Discover the potential of your body and elevate your performance to new heights. Whether you're an athlete or just seeking to live pain-free, I am here to guide you towards optimal wellness.
About me:
I’ve been fortunate to work with a variety of professional athletes including going on tour with a top 10 professional tennis player or consultant treatments for NHL players. I’ve worked extensively in clinics, gyms and on the field with sports teams for over 10 years. I furthered my training with Dr. Mark Scappaticci in Functional Integrated Therapy (™). My treatment approach is focused on restoring function, preventing re-injury, improving performance, and reducing pain. My treatments integrate a variety of tools. I am well versed in the practices of, dry needling, electro-acupuncture, Myo-Matrix Release©, cupping, sports massage, Fascial Abrasions Technique©, shockwave, joint manipulation/mobilization and rehabilitative exercise (dynamic neuromuscular stabilization, functional range systems, Pilates, foundation training, yoga). I treat the entire body by identifying the root cause and addressing the anatomy, the physiology and the neurological systems involved.
“My goal is to return patients to their optimal function as quickly as possible and in doing so, to get them moving even better than before.”
I believe movement plays a large role in a patient’s recovery. I have extensive experience guiding patients through rehabilitation all the way up to performance for a wide spectrum of demands including professional athletes, general activity/health, chronic disease, pre-and post-natal care, and acute or chronic injuries. While the treatments are integral to restoring tissue function, I show my patients movement and exercises to help maintain their results.
With a passion for health, keeping active and enjoying the outdoors, I have enjoyed playing many different sports including water polo, soft ball, rugby, cycling, running, swimming, rock climbing, surfing, paddle boarding, snowboarding and resistance training. I love to learn and I will always continue to explore new research and courses regarding the body, injuries, and recovery to further improve my treatments. When working with patients, my goal is to return patients to their optimal function as quickly as possible and in doing so, to get them moving even better than before.
